Author: Tracy Burns

Tracy A. Burns writes articles for her own travel blog, Tracy’s Travels, at www.taburns25.com. Her travel pieces can also be found on the web pages of Kiss from the World at www.kissfromtheworld.com and on the site of Private Prague Guide at www.private-prague-guide.com/prague-blog. Her writings about the Czech Republic and Sicily have also been published in The Washington Post and on the web pages of Suitcase Stories, Offbeat Travel and Baskets Life, for instance. Since 2002, she has been writing essays and reviews about Czech and Slovak literature for the academic journal Kosmas. She is a contributing author of the book The Arena Adventure, chronicling the first 40 years of Arena Stage theatre in Washington, D.C. She has published numerous nonfiction and fiction works in Czech, Slovak and English. She holds a master’s degree in Czech literature from Norwich University. She also has taken classes in Slovak literature at Charles University. A resident of Prague for more than 20 years, she works as a writer and proofreader.
